These terms cover the work Garage Cleanout Niagara ("we", "us") does for you ("you", "the client") when you hire us for a cleanout. Booking a job means you've read and agreed to these terms.
What we do
We haul, sort, recycle, donate, and dispose of unwanted items from garages, basements, sheds, and similar spaces in the Niagara Region of Ontario. We also sweep the space before we leave.
Quotes and booking
- We send fixed quotes based on photos you share, or based on what we see when we arrive.
- Quotes are valid for 14 days unless we say otherwise in writing.
- A standard one-car garage cleanout starts at $699. Larger jobs are quoted individually.
- A booking is confirmed once we've agreed on a date and you've replied to confirm.
Pricing and payment
- The quote is the price. We don't add upsells or surprise fees.
- Payment is due when the job is finished.
- We accept e-transfer, credit card, and cash. A receipt is sent for every job.
- If the scope changes on the day (significantly more items, additional rooms, etc.), we'll quote the change before doing the extra work — never after.
What we will not haul
Some items can't go on the truck or need special handling:
- Live ammunition, explosives, or firearms
- Asbestos, lead paint, or materials suspected of containing them
- Medical waste, biohazards, or sharps
- Large quantities of liquid chemicals or fuel
If we find these on site, we'll set them aside and recommend a licensed handler. Smaller volumes of household hazardous materials (paint, solvents, batteries) are usually fine — ask if you're not sure.
Access and your stuff
- You confirm that you own the items being removed, or that you're authorized to dispose of them.
- You're responsible for telling us about anything you want to keep before we start.
- Once an item is on the truck and the truck has left, we can't return it.
- Please make sure the work area is reasonably accessible: driveway clear, pets secured, and a path to the garage.
Property
We take care, but cleanouts involve moving heavy and awkward items. We're not responsible for normal wear (scuffs, marks on door frames, dust) caused by reasonable handling. If we damage something through clear negligence, tell us right away and we'll work it out fairly.
Cancellation and rescheduling
- Reschedule any time up to 24 hours before the job, no charge.
- Same-day cancellations may be charged a small fee to cover scheduled crew time.
- If we have to reschedule because of weather or a vehicle issue, we'll get you the next available slot at no extra cost.
Photos
We may take before and after photos for our records and to confirm completion. We don't post photos that identify you or your address publicly without permission. Sensitive jobs are kept off social media entirely. See our Privacy Policy for more.
Liability
Our maximum liability for any single job is the amount you paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Service area
We serve the Niagara Region of Ontario. Jobs outside this area are quoted case by case.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest version.
